1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AQiS Academy website, mobile application, or any of our services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Description of Services

AQiS Academy provides online educational courses, training programs, mentoring services, and career resources in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, and related technologies (the "Services").

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of our Services.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of our Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Platform, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

4. Payment and Fees

Certain courses and services on our Platform require payment of fees. All fees are stated in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise indicated.

• Course Fees: Fees for individual courses are displayed on the course page.
• Subscription Plans: For subscription-based services, you will be billed in advance on a recurring basis.
• Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with your purchase.
• Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods as indicated on our Platform.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Course Cancellation

You may cancel your enrollment in a course up to 7 days before the course start date for a full refund.

5.2 Refund Policy

After the course begins, we offer a prorated credit valid for 12 months toward any future cohort. No refunds are issued after week four of the course.

5.3 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content on our Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, videos, software, and documentation, is the property of AQiS Academy or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Platform and Services for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

6.3 Prohibited Uses

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from our Platform without our prior written consent.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Copy or distribute course materials without permission
• Use automated systems to access the Platform

8. Certificate Policy

Certificates of completion are issued only to students who have:

• Completed 100% of the course requirements
• Achieved a passing grade (minimum 70%) on all assessments
• Paid all applicable fees
• Complied with our academic integrity policy

AQiS Academy reserves the right to revoke any certificate if it is later discovered that the recipient violated these Terms or our academic integrity policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AQiS Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our Services
• Any conduct or content of any third party on our Platform
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email or through our Platform. Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
